We are seeking a Sr. Graphic Artist for the SPEED facility. This position, under the Creative Director’s supervision, creates and executes graphics for use across all Network platforms. Duties include implementing, executing and maintaining graphic elements for on-air promotions; remote and studio productions and providing graphics packages to outside producers for SPEED commissioned programs. Creating and producing required graphic elements; organizing the graphic elements library; archiving digital project files; and troubleshooting MAC graphic systems issues, as required.
Responsibilities
- Designs and executes graphics for all on-air programs and promotion
- Organizes and maintains the graphic elements library.
- Maintains digital files and ensures that projects are properly archived.
Requirements
- This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
- A minimum of 3+ years experience in broadcast television graphic design and production is necessary. Proven design and typography skills are also required.
- An overall understanding of the television industry is preferred. Proven creative skills in utilizing Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and various 3-D software is necessary
- The ability to troubleshoot MAC graphic system issues is needed.
- Good organizational and project management skills are needed.
- The ability to multitask and work effectively in a time sensitive, high pressure environment is essential
